This category contains essays in The Virtuous Perl Programmer series.

The series considers programming as a human craft ordered toward truth, useful service, just exchange, and the common good. It applies the virtues developed through Perl Guilds to the practical work of designing, building, testing, distributing, selling, and supporting software.

The current technical journey follows the Perl craftsman from an existing knowledge of Perl toward the production of complete Windows desktop applications using Strawberry Perl, wxPerl, wxGlade, packaging tools, and Inno Setup.

The essays are intended to serve both experienced Perl journeymen and masters who may be seeking a renewed field for their craft, and prospective apprentices who are only beginning to discover programming.
